The choice is up to you. A Gravel Bike, Cyclo Cross or Mt. Bike are all appropriate choices for the course. We recommend a minimum tire width of 700X38c with some good knobs for control on the loose sections. Our favorite tire is the Panaracer GravelKing SK in their 40C width.

The first year, the choice was all about mountain bike vs. cyclocross bike.
